VISUAL IDENTITY : CENTQUATRE PARIS (2019)
The Cent Quatre is a versatile and busy space, full of life of all cultures, ages and activities. It was tricky to capture its essence through its content, so I chose to work on the architecture of the place, and the arch-shaped gates in particular.
Therefore I researched narrow condensed fonts, to best accommodate the roundness of the arch in lettering.I thus selected the Gravur font, because its proportions allowed me to customize it into the desired shape. I proceeded to do so on the N, A and O to incorporate the arch consistently and changed the tip of the Q aswell for spacing and balance. The logotype is therefore a custom font.
